Jeanette Wang 王芷蕾

An award-winning recording artist with over 35 albums, Jeanette Wang has recorded hit songs for the Mandarin Chinese markets in Taiwan (Republic of China), Singapore, Malaysia and most recently, China (Mainland/PRC). Her numerous awards include the Golden Bell, and Golden Tripod award, which are SE Asian equivalents of an Emmy and a Grammy award. She also received a Golden Voice award, which is equivalent to a People’s choice award.

Jeanette is most well known for her crystal-clear and angelical voice. In 1985 she recorded ‘The Sky of Taipei’, which is still considered by many Chinese to be the unofficial “second” national anthem of Taiwan. Her accomplishments include her own TV show, concerts and radio programs. She has performed at numerous official events, including singing the national anthem at the official celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Republic of China at Taiwan’s Presidential Square. She is also well known for singing the theme songs to many of the most popular Chinese TV series and movies.

In 2006 she released an album that includes the theme song she sang for a highly rated TV series shown in China. In 2010, she released an album featuring Gospel and secular songs, and since then, she has been focusing on Gospel music and charitable works.

She has performed in many major cities around the world, and in the US, in Las Vegas, Reno, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Houston, the Strathmore in Rockville, MD, Lincoln Center in New York City and Kennedy Center in DC.

Jeanette lives in Charlottesville, VA with Joshua (son), Jim (husband) and Lucky (puppy).

Two Piano Journey

Michelle and Christopher are a mother & son two piano team on a mission to make the world a better place. They are currently on a benefit concert tour, using their talents to raise money for nonprofits in the hunger relief, education, and social service sectors. Christopher was inspired to launch their project in 2016 to give his mother a chance to live her performance dreams after she sacrificed her career to raise her children. They have performed together in many major performance spaces, including Carnegie Hall in New York City, the San Francisco War Memorial & Performing Arts Center, the Eisemann Center in Dallas, and the David Friend Recital Hall at Berklee College of Music. In collaboration with many inspiring philanthropic organizations, they have been able to help raise more than $2,200,000 for social causes. Their partners include national organizations including Feeding America, Minds Matter, RLC, and the Chinese-American Planning Council, and their sponsors include the Taiwanese Economic & Cultural Development Office, Cathay Bank, and the Miranda Lux Foundation. Their project has been featured on NBC Bay Area, Asian American Life, and documentary short films have been produced by San Francisco based Feast Studios and Los Angeles based Elu Studios.

Michelle Chen Kuo (Chen Chou-Hsia) is a critically acclaimed concert pianist, teacher, and philanthropist. Michelle’s formative years as a pianist began in her native Taiwan, where she graduated with the highest achievement from Kuang-Jen Music School and went on to have her solo debut in Taipei at the age of 16 after winning the Taiwan National Piano Competition three years consecutively. As the first-prize winner of the National Piano Competition in Hong Kong and recipient of the Tom Lee Scholarship, she represented Hong Kong at the London Arts Festival. She received her Bachelor of Music Degree from the Eastman School of Music of the University of Rochester and her Master of Music Degree from The Juilliard School with high distinction.

Christopher received his Bachelor of Science in Finance and Statistics from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business of New York University with high distinction as the recipient of the Beta Gamma Sigma Scholastic Award, Sally Blount Social Impact Award, and the Presidential Service Award. He is currently a Director at Citigroup in the Emerging Markets Credit Trading division. He is the recipient of the Credit Suisse Americas Foundation 2020 Giving Back Award. Christopher has studied with his mother, his only teacher, since he was five years old.
